This panel discussion will include several administrators who are leading innovative district-wide literacy initiatives. The panel members will address the reading challenges in their schools and the solution-focused curriculum design and instructional strategies they have implemented to improve reading instruction and intervention. These educational leaders will share their experiences in developing successful literacy programs and provide the nuts and bolts for meeting the needs of diverse student populations in whole-class, intervention tiers, and special education. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain resources that can be used for literacy improvement in their own districts.
